Founder & Managing Director, Etventure GmbH
"Changing the game" – Under this guiding principle Philipp Depiereux, Founder and Managing Director of digital consultancy and company builder etventure, is driving digital change in economy and society with new ways of thinking and innovative methods.
Together with two partners, he founded etventure in 2010 with the vision of combining the experience gained from innovation projects in medium-sized businesses, the corporate world and start-ups in one company. Fast, radically user-centered and with an entrepreneurial mindset in execution – this is what makes the development of new digital ideas successful. To this end, etventure uses innovation methods such as Lean Startup and Design Thinking. Customers include BARMER, Daimler Financial Services, Franz Haniel & Cie., Schwan-STABILO and the steel trader Klöckner. Since October 2017, etventure has been part of the professional services firm EY.
Philipp Depiereux is also the initiator and host of the video and podcast format "ChangeRider", which tells positive and successful stories about innovation, disruption and digital change in economy and society. During a "Talk in a Tesla", Depiereux interviews people who are actively driving this change with courage, execution power and innovative spirit. Its passengers include inspiring, creative and entrepreneurial personalities such as Dorothee Bär, State Minister for Digitization, Roland Berger, founder of the management consultancy of the same name, Klöckner CEO Gisbert Rühl and Magdalena Rogl, Head of Digital Channels at Microsoft.
The business economist and entrepreneur previously worked as managing director of a medium-sized company and failed with his strategy – an experience that taught him a lot and about which he speaks openly and honestly.
